What are SALPay Wallet and SALPay Card balances?
The SALPay Wallet and SALPay Card balances were created to help mitigate fraud and loss of your money through various means of theft. It is designed to make sure the only amount of money you could potentially lose is on your SALPay Card balance, while funds in your SALPay Wallet balance remains safe.

How do I Transfer Funds From My SALPay Wallet to My SALPay Card using the SALPay App?
Transferring Funds Using the SALPay App
Notice the new look of the SALPay app dashboard displaying your Total Balance, the SALPay Wallet balance, and the SALPay Card balance.
To transfer funds from your SALPay Wallet balance to your SALPay Card balance, tap the “Transfer Funds” button.
Tap the type of transfer you’d like to make; “My SALPay Wallet to My SALPay Card” or “My SALPay Card to My SALPay Wallet.” For this tutorial, we’ll perform a SALPay Wallet to SALPay Card transfer, so we’ll tap “My SALPay Wallet to My SALPay Card.”
Enter the amount of funds you would like to transfer from your SALPay Wallet to your SALPay Card and tap the “Transfer” button at the bottom. The minimum amount is P100.
You will be receiving a confirmation text message for the fund transfer. Confirm the transfer by entering the 4-digit One Time Password (OTP) you received in the text message.
Congratulations, you’re done! You will now see your updated SALPay Wallet and Card balances on the dashboard in your SALPay app. You can now use your SALPay Card as you normally would until the balance is 0 (or low enough to not make a transaction), then you must repeat this process again.
We also want to point out the new look of the Transaction History in your SALPay app. Your transactions are now broken down by your SALPay Wallet and SALPay Card, and you will have to toggle between each one to view their respective activity:
Transferring Funds Using the Employee Self-Service (ESS) Portal
1. To transfer funds from your SALPay Wallet to your SALPay card using the ESS Portal, first login to your Employee Self-Service portal and click “Wallet” on the bottom of the left-hand menu.
2. Click the “Transfer” button located under the “Total Balance” sub-menu, and select “My SALPay Wallet to My SALPay Card”
3. Enter the amount of funds you’d like to transfer to your SALPay Card from your SALPay Wallet and click “Submit”. The minimum amount is P100.
4. Enter your One Time Password (OTP) sent to your mobile phone to complete the transaction.
5. You’re finished! You can now see the new amounts of funds in each of the wallet’s transaction history.
